Manifesting
Today, I felt like doing something different and writing about manifesting. I know it is often used in our modern holistic and mindfulness groups. As a Witch, I have always been led to understand that manifesting can both be negative and positive.
An example of manifesting something negative is being very pessimistic about an outcome. We have all met someone riddled with self-doubt.
For those people who struggle with imposter syndrome or negative self-speech, I recommend reframing their inner and outer self-speak.
Instead of “I won't get the promotion; nothing good ever happens to me,” try, “I could see myself loving that job if I get that promotion, but if it doesn’t happen this time, I will keep trying. It’s not if; it is when.”
Building self-confidence is a lot like gassing up our friends. The more you say you can do something, the more you believe it, and your actions and goal-setting will reflect this. Positive manifestation is a mindset; using it correctly opens our minds to accepting positive change.
